today was a very stressful day.
for many people, although vic kept saying she didnt feel the stress.
anyway, charis, ethel and i (on top of other people) were very stressed out and rushed for time. cos productivity rate was low and work was progressing very very slowly.
it was also a day for vulgarities, profanities, curses and swear words. which all pretty much mean the same thing la. :D

ethel was extremely stressed out today. and she went even more senile than she already was. so that was quite sad. ):

i think if i blogged out everything that happened today, i'd type for a long time.

anyway, i think that many problems that we encountered today could have really been prevented. garh anyway what's past is past (:

okay, i shouldn't be saying this, but i think when we go to school tomorrow, our cloth might all fall ): because it all looks so saggy and droopy, like it'll drop any moment. and the weights are really dangerous. what if the same thing as just now happened again?! its so dangerous omg!

today was spastic. in the morning before assembly, i hardly even stayed in class for more than 5 minutes. i went into class, charis asked me to go find yibing with her. so i went with her. then i came back, ethel appeared and sitong appeared and passed us the posters. then we went to GO to get approval, then went to find sunlao. and when we went back to class, it was almost time to go down so we went down. o.O
dance was ouch. haha. cos long time never do those stuff already =/
chinese was crap. wrote ying yong wen. claudia la! she was telling beehiang during recess "2hours today, do what? write zuowen ah?" then we really wrote. T_T oh i havent done my du hou gan xiang. will do it tonight. no football match tonight, means i can do work. XD
assembly was .. normal. people slept and surprisingly i didnt. lol. had a talk about.. integrity and all that la. then after school, went for 3rd lang. i sat with ethel on the bus. and we had a rather.. interesting conversation. XD ethel! hahaha. then at the moelc, qitian went to the toilet first. so i also decided to go. and when i bent down to put my bag, the toilet door opened and wham-ed my head. it was damn pain okay. btw, its the toilet near the water coolers. ya. sucks can! garh.
i made a new friend in 3rd lang. florence :D okay, new old friend. cos i already knew her but i got to know her more today. cos i sat with her. ahaha. florence is nice (:

then geog. OHMAN i seriously did not know my duty was on tuesday and i didnt know i was the clear dustbin person! because i've always been thursday sockets&cables. =/ ohmygoodness. i tell you i got a great shock when mr lim was like "IRIS!" :O
oh and when mrlim said about me having my pens, homeworkbook and geog notebook on my table, it was because of this:

i spent the whole of after school and before crime prevention test looking for the paint and where was it? behind the cardboard. like omg, i was running around, freaking out and shouting "where's the paint" and waving the paintbrush around. and the whole time, vic was downstairs buying drink. T_T
crime prevention test was quite easy. its common sense.
then went back to class and spent the rest of the time looking for charis who was M.I.A (turns out she was at the com lab. T_T) and stoning around. i was very bored but i didnt feel like going home. then i went to charis' seat and arranged all her stationery by colours. heehee. ya and i bought chocolate from pop :D
then when we went back to class, charis reappeared and then we went home :D thank you once again, charis for fetching me home :D! <3!

haha when charis' mom dropped me off opposite my house, i dashed across the road and almost got knocked down by a taxi ^^;; haha and my maid opened the gate for me :D my ex-neighbour's maid is currently in our kitchen :D and that's not a bad thing, because TONIGHT'S DINNER ROCKS :D i just went down to taste the curry she cooked for us. super nice! yay she rocks my socks off :D speaking of socks, i forgot to buy socks. lol heck.

first day of school!
a really boring day, i must say. ):
started with science. i took notes. okay thats not unusual so never mind. oh but amazingly, i wrote down all the homework in my homework notebook. okay not homework. things to do. like bring funfair tickets money.
i managed to get tammy, xinyu, louisa, jenzi, lydia and gail to do my SANA questionnaire (: and xinyi was begging me to leave some people for her. -.- spastic la! oh and i inspired charis to distribute the questionnaires too.
tomorrow i shall get ethel, vic and ziyan to do for me. unless they did le. cos i have 3 more. so 3.. just nice :D
after science was chinese. which was slack. discussed funfair stuff and shared holiday stuff. lol louisa. anyway. after chinese was recess. ethel and i ate macaroni. it was quite amusing cos at first we wanted porridge. then ethel saw the sign saying macaroni then she wondered if it was nice. then just nice wye teng came by carrying a bowl of macaroni so i stopped her and asked if it was nice. looked at wye teng's bowl and declared that it was nice enough. so we bought it. haha! quite amusing. :P
then we went to pop. and we were late for drama. so we ran like nuts to drama. was super exhausted. then for a short while, i was panting and vic was telling me to calm down. haha!
did the plots in drama. mdm oehlers is biased. okay i think it was quite mean of her to say she preferred the girls home plot even before hearing the fairytale plot. or did she already hear it? my memory is bad. it's so bad that i couldnt even remember how much qitian owed me. in fact, i didnt even know she owed me money until she told me!

then lunch. stoned. i didn't eat.
and langarts. haha. she talked for 40 minutes. talking about her toilet, foreign workers, her going marketing in spaghetti strap+shorts (like omg, can you IMAGINE?! i dont even want to la. all the flabby skin, fats, wrinkles and all that. all in the red glory of her oh-so-radiant and glowing red skin)
and the last 20 minutes was to get into our lit circle groups and discuss.
yay i have a lit circle group, although the members arent confirmed yet. because we were supposed to draw lots. then.. haha. nvm.

and when the bell rang, i chiong-packed my bag and went for 3rd lang with ziyan and rouying (: rouying kept singing some choir song. some chinese song. lol.
oh, we changed classroom (BEHOLD THE 2ND FLOOR! THE WONDERFUL 2ND FLOOR! GAZILLIONS BETTER THAN 4TH FLOOR, BAYBEH!) to 208 and changed sensei to ang sensei. sorry la but i dont like ang sensei. although i seem to pay more attention today than other days. but that's probably because i wasnt very sleepy. hehehehe. and for the listening, i got 4/5 [: so fantastic yeah! but i was doing with qitian as in we worked together to get 4/5 :D
then i went home with kaiyang, eliezer and shimin. shimin bought her breadtalk. and i found out that eliezer is born on the same day as clara! 30th june. holy crap. 30th june. I NEED TO BUY PRESENT! AH!

i have a notebook that i use for math revision la. its some cssp thing. then i have a new notebook from crime prevention course. and i just realised its also cssp! so its like the old version and new version. cos inside have calendar. the older notebook has the 2003-2004 calendar whereas the new one has 2005-2006 calendar :D cool huh. haha
i took pics of it but now i'm lazy to upload them here. ohwell.

this morning i went with my parents to tiongbahru market to eat breakfast. then i went to school. met ziyan. and gave yumi her present :D
then at 855 i ran off for guides :D

yeah, my group was group 5 for the wide game thingy we had today and i was the group leader. TAN YEN JIN! grah! she was supposed to be the leader. then she didn't come so yibing just came to me and said "eh iris, you be leader, take over yenjin" and i was like :O?!?!?!
haha okay wide game was slackkkkk. haha! cos it was trial la. then we were walking to each station >:D yeah, we were supposed to run la. for real wide games. (x
group 5 loves the kidneybean station :D we picked 756 beans. and then at debrief, lynn said the lowest group got 700+ beans and we were like "ohno, is it us" haha but anyway trial wide game no prizes. (:

after cip trial.. sandy, yiwei, zihui, evelyn, cheryl and i went to kap to eat lunch! mwahaha, scrap the liquid diet :O i ate nuggets for lunch (x haha yeah. at kap.. saw quite a lot of people we knew. ohno i think jiayu is sad ): she went to kap ALONE, ate ALONE, went back to school ALONE, everything alone la. ): and we actually invited her to come and have lunch with us. and then, she finished her food already. ): i feel really sad for her! ANYWAY! we saw anna there. and we were like :O anna anna! and zihui is evil la! she RAN AWAY FROM ANNA. ohmygoodness can. oh and the mcdonald's cashier person cheated sandy! i tell you her name. it really cracked me up okay! CHRIST. hahaha omgeez okay! yeah and sandy wanted EXTRA CHEESE. then she didn't give extra cheese. we tell them they give wrong, they give.. EVEN SMALLER PIECE OF CHEESE wahlao! i was damn pissed okay! and, they charged an additional 25c for the cheese which sandy did not get. -.-

after lunch we went to cold storage to.. SHOP! sandy bought a can of sweets, zihui bought potc m&ms (ziyan!), cheryl bought orange mentos cool chews, evelyn bought a tube of frutips. heehee. sandy's can of sweets was given out to the whole crime prevention group unknowingly okay! she passed to one row. then eventually the whole group got. she was very very shocked. haha

anyway then after kap.. went back to school and we went to the LT to stone. zihui, sandy and i were playing with the microphones. singing and talking crap la. while evelyn, cheryl and yiwei laughed and laughed. yeah gloria laughed too. lol.
oh i kept saying "i am nice" into the mike, like 218471048714214 times okay! super funny hahaha!
after crime prevention talk i went back to class! i ran okay! i dont know why, but i ran O.o

haha in class.. the first thing ziyan said to me was "oh don't worry, they haven't even started yet" and i was like "oh." yeah then i went over to vic and ethel. stoned around. and then ethel and i were like waiting for vic to give clearance so we could paint.

yeah and after vic finally said we could start painting, it was like this. we are super chidun!

after painting about half (a third?) of the gooey slime thing, we stopped and packed up. and went home.

tessa's very sad now and i dont know how to cheer her up =/ sorry tessa <3!

the music is rather annoying though. really really loud. haha but the thing is quite cute. though my bro says after a while, you might get bored of it and not want to play anymore. the novelty will only stay for at most a week. =/ hope not! haha.
i like the little toys (: fluffy and pluffy and cute. hahaha

bought mini foody! turns out its a keshigomu. an eraser in japanese. but very cute anyhow! might consider giving one to tessa (: bought the cake and the sushi. my bro says its very cute haha :D

so i think today was quite fun la. haha. ethel laughed A LOT. haha ohmy. especially at lovely land. and! I KNOW WHAT TO SCARE ETHEL WITH NOW >:D hohoho ethel! the big plastic bag is going to BREAK!!! rawr! seriously okay, the handle looks very dangerous now. =x action city should change the colour of their plastic bags. cos if you buy huge items like tessa's big dolphin, they will give you the really big big plastic bag then when you carry it around, it's really prominent and people will look at it. cos, it's bright orange. =/ i remember carrying tessa's dolphin. people kept staring and staring! o.O

[Part 1]
The earth is warming up! And we are the only ones who can save it. High usage of electricity requires more coal to be generated, leading to more climate-warming carbon dioxide (CO²), and many other harmful gases being released into the atmosphere.

Sulphur dioxide, a gas released into the atmosphere when coal is burned, results in acid rain when it reacts with water in the clouds. Nitrogen oxides can also contribute to acid rain. Carbon dioxide traps heat that would escape into space, thus affecting the climate. Lastly, when mercury falls with rain and snow, fishes in the sea are also affected.

Global warming leads to the melting of ice glaciers, which causes the sea level to rise. It's a threat to animals living in the North and South Poles too, because the temperature is rising and these animals aren't accustomed to rising temperatures.

By stopping all this, we need to start saving energy. However, it's not that easy. Electricity is a daily necessity. We use electricity to heat up our water when we bathe, to provide us with light, air-conditioning and many more. If we make an effort to turn off these electrical appliances when they are not in use, perhaps we CAN save the earth.

So what are you waiting for? Save energy now! :D Don't let the penguins die! (And other animals like the polar bears too.)

The word fossil explains that these fuels take many years to build up. If they were to be depleted in the years to come, it would take many years for more fossil fuel to be built up.

That's why we have to save fossil fuels. You can start by saving electricity. :D
